Scholarships make a difference! You can too.

Scholarships open the door to a brighter future.

Congratulations to the 2024 cohort of Mentor-Supported Scholarships! 123 students will start college or university in the fall with the financial and mentorship support they need to be successful. Students from all 9 San Bernardino City Unified School District high schools, including the Inland Career Education Center Adult School, will receive $3,000 cash awards plus a paid mentor for two years, a total value of $4,500!

Your gift to the Making Hope Happen Foundation helps remove the financial barriers so deserving young adults can pursue the college education or technical training they’ll need for a quality career.  Plus, all of our scholars are supported by a mentor for two years.  Since most San Bernardino City Unified School District graduates will be the first in their family to go to college, they really benefit from the guidance and encouragement of a knowledgeable friend to help them navigate their higher education journey.  Your gift eliminates financial barriers and fills a social capital gap for disadvantaged students.

This year, more than ever, high school seniors in San Bernardino need to know we’re in their corner.

Please consider giving what you can today.
