Dr. Margaret Hill Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The Gala is also the last night of our Dr. Margaret Hill Memorial Scholarship Endowment Campaign. We hope to announce we have raised the $25,000 to fully fund her memorial endowment.  You can help us reach this goal!

Dr. Margaret Hill (1940 – 2021) served students and families of the SBCUSD for 50 years as a teacher, administrator, and member of the Board of Education. Her commitment to students was tireless and unwavering, and her mark on our community was indelible.

In 2021, AM, LLC donated $50,000 to start the Dr. Margaret Hill Memorial Scholarship Endowment, which, when funded fully, will provide at least one Mentor-Supported Scholarship to a graduating senior at San Andreas Continuation High School every year in perpetuity.

In February of 2024, we kicked off a drive to raise the remaining $50K with a generous matching pledge by local attorney and philanthropist Bill Lemann. For every dollar raised up to $25K, he will match it, providing two scholarships in 2024 and at least one every year after that.

Help us make hope happen by donating today.
