On December 11th at 7 a.m., the Making Hope Happen Foundation will bring together the San Bernardino community, educators, and local partners for the Second Annual Scholarship Breakfast at the DoubleTree Hotel. This inspiring event celebrates the achievements of San Bernardino City Unified students and the growing impact of the Foundation’s scholarship program, a program fueled entirely by the generosity and commitment of our community.
The Scholarship Breakfast was created as a space where hope is shared, strengthened, and set into motion. By uniting supporters from across the Inland Empire, the Foundation recognizes students whose lives are being transformed through educational opportunity. This year’s event is made possible thanks to partners including the San Bernardino City Unified School District, San Bernardino Valley College Foundation, Bob’s Discount Furniture, IEHP Foundation, Bank of America, and many others who believe deeply in investing in local youth.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Daniel E. Walker, master storyteller, philanthropist, and social innovation leader, as our keynote speaker. As an Inland Empire native, Dr. Walker brings a powerful message of resilience and possibility that will inspire all who attend.
This year, we’re calling on our community to step up, show up, and support students who need us now more than ever. Your attendance or donation directly helps reduce financial barriers, expands access to higher education, and fuels brighter futures for San Bernardino youth.
